Free Claude skill
Drip audit
Before you start
- You need a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise).
- Turn on code execution: in Claude, go to Settings → Capabilities and turn on Code execution and file creation. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner may need to turn on skills in admin settings first.
- Who should install it first: Whoever owns lifecycle or email marketing.
Step 1: Upload the skill
- Use the original ZIP file you downloaded. Upload the ZIP itself, not an unzipped folder.
- In Claude, open Customize → Skills (in some versions, it's under Settings → Capabilities).
- Click + or Upload skill, and select this ZIP file.
- Make sure the skill is turned on.
Skills you upload are private to your account, so each teammate who wants to use it uploads it too. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner can add it for the whole organization instead.
Step 2: Run setup right away
This skill works best when it's tailored to your team, so it starts with a short setup. Open a new chat (or a Claude project your team uses for this work) and paste this prompt:
Let's set up the drip audit for my team.
Claude will ask questions two or three at a time, so it never feels like a long form. Setup takes about 10 minutes, and you'll only do it once. It covers:
- Which email platform and CRM you use, and whether they're connected to Claude. If not, a CSV export works.
- Which sequences matter most, what counts as a conversion for each, and which contacts to always exclude.
- Other channels that drive the same conversions, like sales calls or events.
- Who approves changes to live workflows, and how you want results delivered.
If you're not sure about an answer, say so. Claude will suggest options or use a sensible default.
Step 3: Save your setup file
At the end, Claude gives you a file called drip-audit-setup.md with everything you told it. This is what makes the skill remember your team, so keep it somewhere it will load every time:
- Best option: create a Claude project (for example, "Lifecycle email"), add the file to the project's files, and use the skill inside that project. Share the project with your team so everyone gets the same setup.
- Otherwise: upload the file at the start of any new chat where you use the skill.
To change your setup later, upload the file and say "update my setup."
Step 4: Use it
After setup, Claude shows you a short how-to guide. You don't need to name the skill. Ask for what you need and Claude uses it automatically. For example:
- "Audit our trial-to-paid onboarding sequence."
- "Here's a CSV export of everyone in the post-demo nurture this year. Which emails are doing the work?"
- "Check all our active workflows for stuck contacts."
Claude asks for anything it's missing before it writes or builds, and it never sends, publishes, or changes anything in your tools unless you ask.
